LOOK: First Sanremo Latte Art Throwdown in Manila

Latté art is always a delight to see when you get your cup of coffee. The better the barista is, the more elaborate the latté art. Last November 29, 2017, 82 baristas competed for the best latté art in the Philippines in the first ever Sanremo Latté Art Throwdown in Manila.

The Sanremo Latte Art Throwdown Event is an event for baristas to showcase their latté art skills using the Sanremo Café Racer. Ben Stephens, a representative of the Sanremo Word Academy Team, is the guest speaker. He spoke about the Sanremo Cafe Racer and Coffee.

It’s the perfect machine for latté artists. The Sanremo Cafe Racer’s stainless steam wand features Cool Touch. This means that even with prolonged use, the anti-burning feature prevents you from getting burns. It’s fitted with Latte Art high-performance steam terminals.
Ben Stephens also judged the event with Mark Neil Madrelejos, founder of Latté Art Philippines, and Ernie Mesina, Master Barista of Coffee Concepts Specialist. The Sanremo Latte Art Throwdown partnered with different coffee roasters to offer free coffee at the event using Sanremo Coffee machines:
